Kansas Rowing Completes Day One of Conference USA Championship and South-Central Regional

OAK RIDGE, Tenn.—Kansas rowing finished day one of the of the inaugural Conference USA Championship and South-Central Regional sprints in Oak Ridge, Tenn., on Saturday. The Jayhawks are competing for both the Conference USA Championship and a South-Central Regional crown.
Kansas placed second in the Varsity Four C/D 2 semifinal and the Second Varsity Eight semifinal, fifth in the First Varsity Eight C/D 2 Semifinal and Open Four A/B 2 semifinal and sixth in the Novice Eight Repechage 2.
The Jayhawks will compete in the Open Four B final, Novice Eight C final, Varsity Four C final, Second Varsity Eight C final and First Varsity Eight D final on Sunday.
