CHAPEL HILL, N.C. –

KU, which improved to 39-23 on the season, advances to face host North Carolina at 4 p.m. CST. The Jayhawks would need two wins over the Tar Heels to advance to the Super Regionals next weekend. Coastal Carolina is eliminated from NCAA Tournament play with a 47-16 record.
Selik went 6 2/3 innings in the game without allowing a run, before Coastal Carolina catcher Jose Iglesias tied the score with a solo shot in the seventh.
