Four KU Tennis Players Named ITA Scholar Athletes

SKILLMAN, N.J. –

Sophomores Amy Barnthouse and Paulina Los and former Jayhawks Kate Goff and Maria Martinez have been named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes for the 2010-11 season. Goff and Martinez were also Academic All-Big 12 First Team selections.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must be a varsity letterwinner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the academic year,and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman thorough senior year).
