Jayhawk Football Flex Pack, Single Game Tickets on Sale Aug. 1

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The University of Kansas Athletics Department announced today that both “Flex Packs” and single game tickets for KU’s 2006 football season will go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1. The Flex Packs provide Jayhawk fans an opportunity to pick one of KU’s three nonconference home games and bundle it with two Big 12 Conference home contests for only $99. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Allen Fieldhouse Ticket Office, by phone at (800) 34-HAWKS or online at kuathletics.com.

Flex Packs offer Jayhawk fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to three home games that fit their schedule. Fans can select one non-conference game (Northwestern State, Louisiana Monroe, South Florida) and two Big 12 Conference games (Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Kansas State) and get the best available seats for those games. The Flex Packs are $99 each.

Single game tickets are also available for purchase. The price of tickets for games against Northwestern State (9/2), Louisiana Monroe (9/9) and South Florida (9/23) are $35 each. All three games begin at 6 p.m. in Memorial Stadium. Tickets for conference games against Texas A&M (10/7), Oklahoma State (10/18) and Colorado (10/28) are priced at $45 each. The Kansas State game (11/18) is priced at $65.

Fans can also purchase group tickets to Jayhawk home games. Groups of 25 or more will receive $10 off the price of a single game ticket. At this time, group tickets are not available for the Kansas State game.

Season Tickets are still available for the 2006 Jayhawk football campaign. Public season tickets are $225. Faculty-staff season tickets are $180 and recent graduate packages are $150 (2004-06 graduation date). Family-Zone packages are also available for $300. The Family-Zone, located in the North Bowl, includes two adult and two youth general admission tickets.
