KU Quarterback Club Set To Begin 2008 Meetings

LAWRENCE, Kan. – With Kansas football just around the corner, the 2008 version of the KU Quarterback Club is set to begin its meetings and is looking for new members for those looking to get an insider’s look at the Jayhawk program.

Members of the club receive access to in-season meetings, guest speakers, weekly stats and press releases, game summaries and upcoming opponent report from Pat Henderson, reserved seating at “Hawk Talk with Mark Mangino” and a food discount at Paddy O’Quigley’s among other benefits.

Members will also receive a 2008 football media guide, a KU cap or visor, be eligible for weekly drawings as well as access to a pregame tailgate at KU Chancellor Robert Hemenway’s residence (first 100 members).

The in-season meetings will take place at Paddy O’Quigley’s inside the Holiday Inn Holidome in Lawrence and will begin Thursday, August 28 and run through Thursday, Nov. 27. The meetings include a social, highlights and speakers and “Hawk Talk with Mark Mangino.”
