LAWRENCE, Kan. – University of Kansas head softball coach Tracy Bunge, along with former student-athletes Amber Snyder (rowing) and Steve Vockrodt (track/cross country), recently promoted the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee’s cookbook, Rock Chalk Recipes, on the local television show “Jayni’s Kitchen.”

Rock Chalk Recipes is a collection of almost 150 favorite recipes from past and present KU student-athletes. The full-color book is a range of many different kinds of recipes including appetizers through desserts. The cookbook offers fun insight into the “tastes” of greats from all generations, including Bunge, Danny Manning, Clyde Lovelette, Lynette Woodard, Otto Schnellbacher, Al Oerter and many others.

The book was created by the SAAC and all proceeds will go to American Cancer Society and local charities. Books will be available for purchase (while supplies last) at home KU Football games. Sales tables will be located at both the East and West sides of Memorial Stadium.

Cost: $15.00 when purchased at the stadium. Books can also be ordered through KUStore.com with applicable sales tax, shipping and handling charges.
