Women's Golf Finishes Tied For Seventh

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Kansas women’s golf team finished tied for seventh, in an 17-team field, at the Moutain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz. The Jayhawks shot a third round score of 311, for a final score of 910 at the 6,040-yard, par-72, Mountain View Golf Course.
Denver won the tournament after shooting a three-round score of 894. Iowa State and co-host school Colorado State tied for second with a final score of 902. International Pacific College (Australia) and San Diego State tied for fourth after shooting 906.
Sophomore Chelsey Pryor tied for 28th with a three-round score of 228. Freshman Amanda Costner and sophomore Tiffany Woods placed in a tie for 31st after shooting a total score of 229. Senior Jennifer Bawanan tied for 51st with final score of 233. Freshman Jill Womble shot 234 to finish in a tie for 55th.
The Jayhawks next compete in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Norman, Okla., on April 12-13.
