Rowing Clinics Scheduled in Lawrence

Kansas Athletics and the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department have teamed up to offer two Community Rowing clinics at the University of Kansas Boathouse in Burcham Park.

The clinics are designed as an introduction to rowing and geared for participants with a minimum background in the sport. Coaches and student-athletes from the KU Rowing Team will be leading the clinics.

Junior Clinic

  • Ages: 12-18
  • Date: Saturday, September 18
  • Time: 9 a.m. – Noon
  • Location: KU Boathouse (220 Indiana Street, Burcham Park)
  • Min: 4 Max: 20
  • Fee: $30.00 (includes a t-shirt)

Adult Clinic

  • Ages: 19 and older
  • Date: Saturday, October 2
  • Time: 9 a.m. – Noon
