Women's Basketball Set To Play Three Games On Fox Sports Net

The Big 12 Conference has announced its 2010-11 women’s basketball telecast schedule on FSN, with the Kansas women’s basketball team set to appear on the network three times.
Kansas will host a pair of games on FSN as they will welcome Oklahoma Sunday, Jan. 23 and Kansas State Saturday, March 5. The Jayhawks will also appear on FSN when they travel to Nebraska Sunday, Jan. 16.
Nineteen regular season games and seven Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship matchups are included in the package. The postseason tournament quarterfinal games will be televised by FSN for the 10th consecutive year, in addition to the semifinals and final which have been aired by the network every year since the inception of the Conference in 1996-97. As part of the postseason championship’s new format, quarterfinals will be played on Wednesday, March 9, followed by semifinals on Friday, March 11 and the final on Saturday, March 12.
Kansas will open the 2010-11 season with a home game versus South Dakota on Sunday, Nov. 14. The Jayhawks return seven letterwinners from the 2009-10 season, including three starters to the lineup.
