Rowing Releases 2005-06 Schedule

Sept. 8, 2005

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

University of Kansas head rowing coach Rob Catloth announced a challenging schedule for the Jayhawks in the 2005-06 season. To begin the fall season, Kansas will travel to Oklahoma City and then finish up the slate in Manhattan with the Sunflower Showdown against Kansas State.

“Our schedule is similar to the last couple of years.” Catloth said. “In the spring we are traveling to the Southern IRA’s, which is a race course that we’re familiar with. We also have tough race duals against Minnesota and Texas. All of these will challenge us with top level racing and we can use this to perform at a higher level.”

In March, Kansas will begin its spring season against SMU in Dallas and will end the schedule as host of the Big 12 Invitational.
