KU Quarterback Club Hosts Second Event of the Season

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The KU Quarterback Club will hold its second meeting of the season on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Buffalo Wild Wings 1012 Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence, beginning at 5 p.m.

The second meeting, Thursday Sept. 9, will feature guest speakers Banks Floodman – an all-conference linebacker and captain of the Fort Worth Bowl team – and former quarterback Todd Reesing. KU Quarterback Club members will meet for a social at 5 p.m. and can stick around to hear Head Coach Turner Gill’s radio show at 6 p.m.

Former guest speakers have included KU greats like John Hadl, Gale Sayers, and John Zook as well as numerous all-conference performers and Coach Don Fambrough. Guest speakers have also included sports writers and sportscasters as well as ‘behind the scenes’ Kansas Athletics employees.
