Kansas Homecoming Game Against Texas Tech To Kick Off at 11 a.m. Oct. 1

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Fox Sports Net (FSN) will televise the Kansas homecoming football game against Texas Tech at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 1 it was announced Monday morning.

The game marks the second-straight Jayhawk game on FSN and third televised game of the season. Kansas played at Georgia Tech on FSN in its last outing and defeated Northern Illinois, 45-42, on Fox College Sports on Sept. 10.

The Jayhawks have a bye Saturday, Sept. 24, before hosting the Red Raiders in their first Big 12 contest of the 2011 season. KU enters the game with a 2-1 mark with wins over McNeese State and Northern Illinois and a loss at No. 24/25 Georgia Tech.
