Kansas Leads Florida International 20-3 at Half

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

On the strength of Todd Reesing’s nine-yard touchdown run and Dakota Lewis’ blocked punt recovery, the University of Kansas leads Florida International, 20-3 at the half in the Jayhawks’ final non-conference football game of the season at Memorial Stadium.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

Lewis put the Jayhawks up 7-0 early, recovering a blocked punt in the end zone after the KU defense forced a three-and-out in FIU’s first possession.

Reesing is 15-of-26 for 244 yards in the first half, while Dezmon Briscoe and Jake Sharp each have three catches. Senior tailback Brandon McAnderson has 55 yards rushing on seven carries to lead the Jayhawks.
