#15 Colorado 2, Kansas 0

Oct. 5, 2008 – Lawrence, Kan.

Head Coach Mark Francis
On the play of Colorado goalkeeper Kirstin Radlinski:

“Their goalkeeper (Radlinski) played unbelievable today. I don’t know if she is always that good, but if she is I can’t imagine there is a better keeper in the conference. A couple of those saves that she made in the first half were unreal. Having said that we had plenty of opportunities, she did make a couple of game winning saves, but we had some chances we didn’t convert on.”

On the team’s overall play:

“In terms of how we played that might be the best game we have played all season. In terms of how we moved the ball, put pressure on them, and kept the pressure on them. I was proud of the kids, they played hard and never quit. In terms of how we played soccer I thought it was very good, and we got a lot of chances because of it, we just did not execute.”

On his overall thoughts of the weekend:

“I was happy with the fact that at this point in the season; our level of performance is at a high level. I think that is where we have to keep it and continue to keep going from there. I don’t think that we can take a step backwards in terms of our expectations.”
