After knocking off then-No. 10 Iowa State two weeks ago, Kansas volleyball (13-7, 4-5 Big 12) will look to upset another top 25 foe when it hosts No. 10 Texas (12-5, 7-2 Big 12) on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Horejsi Family Athletics Center. The match will be televised throughout the Kansas City area on Metro Sports. Sunflower Broadband customers in Lawrence can see the match on channel 37.

Kansas, which has won four of its last five home matches, will rely on offensive duo Karina Garlington and Allison Mayfield. The pair lead the Jayhawks with 3.45 kills per set and 3.07 kill per set, respectively. Mayfield has led the team in kills in each of the last two matches, while Garlington has collected double-digit kills in nine-straight contests.

Libero duties in the back row could land on either senior Melissa Manda or freshman Brianne Riley. Manda, who recently became the school’s all-time digs leader, is averaging 6.55 digs per set over her last three outings and Riley paces the team with 3.73 digs per set on the season.
