Jayhawks to Face Texas A&M in Big 12 Soccer Championship

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Soccer will be the No. 7 seed at next week’s Big 12 Soccer Championship and will face the second-seeded Texas A&M Aggies. KU’s quarterfinal match versus TAMU is set for Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas at the Blossom Soccer Complex.

Live stats and video streaming will be provided via the Big 12 website at www.Big12Sports.com. Should the Jayhawks win, they will advance to Friday’s semifinal game and will play the winner of Wednesday’s Baylor versus Missouri match.

Kansas nearly doubled its win total from a year ago, finishing the 2011 regular season with an 11-8 overall mark, including 3-5 record in league play. KU returns to the conference tournament for the first time since 2009.
