Swimming and Diving Falls to Missouri in Conference Opener

COLUMBIA, Mo. –
Kansas swimming and diving fell to Big 12 rivals Missouri 129-165 Saturday afternoon in Columbia, Mo. The Jayhawks fell to 0-4 in dual competition.
KU recorded three first-place finishes in Saturday’s dual. Freshman Alison Lusk took the top spot in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:19.05. Sophomore Rebecca Swank placed first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.35), while junior Kath Liggett won the 100-yard butterfly (56.99).
The Jayhawks will return to the pool Saturday, Nov. 13 when the team takes on Drury and North Dakota in a double-dual at Robinson Natatorium. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
