Allen Fieldhouse Floor from 1992-2005 Now on Sale at KUathletics.com/floor

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas basketball fans now have the opportunity to own a piece of the Allen Fieldhouse floor that was replaced in 2005 for just $175. To purchase a piece of the floor, one can go to www.kuathletics.com/floor.

This version of James Naismith court existed from 1992 until 2005 and had numerous conference championships won on it in both men’s and women’s basketball. Some of the greats that played on the floor are women’s all-conference performers Angela Aycock, Tameka Dixon and Crystal Kemp. On the men’s side a few of the KU all-stars that played on the floor for sale included Nick Collison, Drew Gooden, Kirk Hinrich, Raef LaFrentz, Paul Pierce, Wayne Simien and Jacque Vaughn.

Floor pieces are sold in 11-1/4 inch squares and have Kansas Jayhawks, Allen Fieldhouse, a Jayhawk logo, James Naismith Court and 1992-2005 engraved on them for authenticity.
