Kansas-Nebraska Football Game Is A Sellout

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Athletics announced that Saturday’s home football game against Nebraska is a sellout. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. and the game is being televised regionally on ABC.

The game will be the final home contest for 15 Jayhawk seniors, including team captains Kerry Meier, Todd Reesing, Jake Sharp and Darrell Stuckey.

This marks the fourth sellout of the season for KU, which drew capacity crowds for Northern Colorado, Duke and Oklahoma this year. KU has drawn at least 50,000 fans into 50,071-seat Kivisto Field at Memorial Stadium in 11 of its most recent 14 home games.

This year’s attendance average of 50,392 is on pace for the second-best mark in school history behind only last year’s average of 50,907.
