Kansas Women's Golf Signs Four

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas head women’s golf coach Erin O’Neil announced four signees, including Manhattan, Kan. product Michelle Woods Tuesday. The Jayhawks also inked Gabriella DiMarco, Nadia Luttner and Jamie Caylor.

“We are very excited to add these four players next fall,” O’Neil said. “They all bring a lot of talent and experience with them and there is no doubt that they will have a positive impact on our team.”

Woods was the 2010 6A Kansas State individual runner-up this fall. She also finished 10th at the American Junior Golf Association Kansas City event this year.

KU signed two players from the state of Pennsylvania in DiMarco and Luttner.

DiMarco, from West Chester East High School, was the 2010 state runner-up. She also qualified for the 2010 U.S. Girls Junior Championship and finished 13th at the 2010 North and South Junior.

Luttner, from Fox Chapel Area High School in Pittsburgh, Pa., posted four top-14 state finishes in her prep career, placing second as a freshman, third as a sophomore, 14th as a junior and ninth this fall. Luttner won the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League Tournament two times and advanced to the round of 16 at the Women’s Western Junior in 2010.

Caylor of Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, Ind. was the medalist at both the Indiana State Regional and Sectional Championships in 2010. She advanced to the round of 32 at the 2010 Women’s Western Junior as well.
