KU’s Win…
–Marks the eighth-straight regular season non-conference win for Kansas, including six-straight at home.

–Improves KU to 4-0 on the 2011-12 season.

–Enhances the Jayhawks to 2-1 all-time versus Lamar including a 2-0 record at Allen Fieldhouse.

–Marks the Jayhawks’ 308th victory over a non-conference opponent, making KU 308-145.

–Gives Kansas an all-time record of 718-506.

–Moves KU head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s record to 121-108 at Kansas and a 279-170 overall record.

Team Notes…
–Kansas used the starting line-up of G Monica Engelman, G Angel Goodrich, G Natalie Knight, F Aishah Sutherland and F Carolyn Davis.

–All five Jayhawk starters scored within the game’s first five minutes.

–Kansas went on two 8-0 runs during the first half and a 15-2 run to close out the first 20 minutes of play.

–KU’s defense allowed the Cardinals to shoot just 18.2% from the field during the first half.

–The Jayhawks went on a 14-1 run at the start of the second half.

–Four Jayhawks netted double-digit point totals in the win.

–The 50-point win marks the largest margin of victory for KU since its 126-63 win over Maine on Dec. 1, 2010.

–Kansas scored a total of 90 points during the contest, its highest total since a 91-52 victory over SIU Edwardsville on December 19, 2010.

Individual Notes…
–Freshman Natalie Knight scored a career-high nine points.

–Freshman Asia Boyd scored the first points of her collegiate career less than a minute after checking into her first game; she would finish with 11.

–Freshman Chelsea Gardner also scored her first career points as a Jayhawk on a jump shot in the second half and finished with two.

–Gardner set a new career high in rebounds with her four.

–With her seven assists, junior Angel Goodrich moved into 10th place on the all-time Kansas list. She now sits just one assist shy of tying Sade Morris for ninth place at 302.

–Goodrich has notched at least five assists in 17-straight games dating back to last season.
