Kansas Trails Missouri 21-0 at Halftime in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas football trails Missouri 21-0 at halftime at Arrowhead Stadium. The Tigers scored touchdowns on their first two possessions and added a third TD in the second quarter.

KU quarterback Jordan Webb has completed 6-of-16 passes for 36 yards. Freshman RB James Sims leads all rushers with 64 yards on 11 carries. Six different receivers have one catch each.

Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert is 12-of-19 passing for 126 yards and one TD. WR T.J. Moe has one rushing and one receiving touchdown for the Tigers. Tailback Kendial Lawrence has the other MU touchdown and leads the Tiger ground game with 37 yards on five carries.

Defensively, KU linebackers Drew Dudley and Steven Johnson each have six stops. CB Greg Brown had his first career interception to stop a Missouri drive at the one yard line.

Kansas started two of its six drives from its own one yard line.

The Jayhawks are wearing all white uniforms, including helmets, for the first time since 1978.
