LAWRENCE, Kan. – Ann Kathrin Wuensch has signed a national letter of intent to play golf at the University of Kansas, head coach Erin O’Neil announced Monday. Wuensch is a product of Herrenberg, Germany where placed 15th at the German Championship in 2011 with a 54-hole total of 223 (71-74-78).

Wuensch attended the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy in 2009-10 in Hilton Head Island, S.C., and recorded seven top five finishes out of nine tournaments. Wuensch finished tied for eighth in the IJGT Bridgestone Tournament of Champions and finished third in IJGT Merit Points for 2009-10 placing her on the All-IJGT team.

Wuensch will join the Jayhawks in the Fall 2012 season along with Mackenzie Thayer and Mook Kawinpakorn.
