Kansas’ win over Florida International…
-Makes the Jayhawks 8-0 to start the season for the first time since the 1991-92 season, when KU went 10-0 to begin the year.
-Gives the Jayhawks their first eight-game winning streak since winning eight straight between Dec. 4 and Jan. 5 in the 1998-99 season.
-Makes KU 2-0 all-time against Florida International and 1-0 against the Golden Panthers in Lawrence.
-Improves the Jayhawks to 2-0 against Sun Belt Conference and 10-4 all-time.
-Makes the Jayhawks 8-0 at home this season.
-Improves head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s record to 20-16 at Kansas and 178-78 in her career.
-Makes the Jayhawks 617-414 all-time.

Game Notes…
-KU extended their streak of consecutive games with a 3-pointer to 45.
-The Jayhawks extended their streak of consecutive games holding an opponent to less than 100 points to 316 games.
-Kansas has scored 70 points in every game this season and is now averaging 78.1 points per game.
-Freshman guard Ivana Catic, who entered the game ranked third in the nation in assists per game, had three assists leaving her season average to 7.0 per game.
-The Jayhawks started the game on a 14-4 run in which Kemp scored eight of their first 13 points.
-Sophomore forward Taylor McIntosh tied a career high with six free throw attempts.
-Freshman forward Marija Zinic tied a career high with six free throw attempts.
-Kemp recorded her 20th career double-double and her third of the season as she finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds. She also recorded her 16th career 20-point game.
-Kemp’s 12 rebounds were a season high.
-When she finished an old-fashioned three-point play after the under 16 timeout in the second half, senior guard Kaylee Brown sunk her 50th career free throw and moved into third place in career free throw shooting percentage. She went 4-of-5 from the free-throw line and is shooting 78.8% on 52-of-66 for her career.
