Kansas’ win over La Salle…

-Makes Kansas 11-0 on the season, the best start in program history.

-Makes the Jayhawks undefeated in non-conference play for the first time in school history.

-Gives KU their first 11 game winning streak since winning 11 straight between Dec. 22 and Jan. 30 in the 1993-94 season.

-Makes KU 11-0 at home this season.

-Makes KU 1-0 all time versus La Salle.

-Improves head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s record at KU to 23-16 and to 181-78 in her career.

-Makes the Jayhawks 620-414 all-time.

Notes

-Friday’s attendance of 4,025 was the second largest non-conference crowd in school history.

-KU’s 11 non-conference wins are the most in regular season play since the 1991-92 team also recorded 11.

-After trailing 71-64 with just over three minutes to play, Kansas outscored La Salle 11-1 the rest of the way en route to the victory.

-With her 24 points, senior Crystal Kemp now has scored 20 or more points in four of her last five games and five times this season. She has netted at least ten or more points in every game this year.

-After being held scoreless in the first half, senior Erica Hallman went on to tally 11 points and has now scored in double figures in all but one game this season.

-Kemp and Hallman combined to score 26 of KU’s 37 second half points.

-Senior Kaylee Brown’s two three-pointers moved her into a seventh place tie with KC Hilgenkamp on KU’s all-time list with 70.

-Freshman Ivana Catic’s 16 points tie a career high.

-The Jayhawks are now 3-0 when trailing at halftime this season.

-La Salle’s 75 percent three-point shooting was a season high by a KU opponent.

-Kansas’ seven turnovers were one shy of a season low.

-Catic’s six free throws made and attempted are both career highs.

-Kemp’s nine free throws made are a season high and are the most made by any Jayhawks this season.

-Kemp’s perfect 9-of-9 shooting from the line marked the third time this season that she has been flawless from the charity stripe (minimum 5 made).

-Kemp’s 19 field goal attempts tie her career high.-Kansas has now held all of its opponents to sub 50 percent shooting from the field this season.
