Google Analytics
We use “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of our websites. Google Analytics collects statistical, non-identifying data (no personal details whatsoever) such as how often users visit this website, what pages they visit when they visit, and what other websites they used prior to coming to our website. It also collects data about visitor demographics and interest categories. We use the information we get from Google Analytics solely to improve our websites.
Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. Google Analytics places a cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit the website, but the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Remarketing
We use remarketing services to advertise on third party websites to previous visitors to our site. This allows us to market our products and services to those who have shown interest in the university and/or Kansas Athletics. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve tailored ads based on someone’s past visits to the KU Athletics and Williams Education Fund websites. It may mean that we advertise to a previous visitor who haven’t completed a task on our site. This could be an ad on the Google search results page, or another site in the advertiser’s network.
We respect your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable personal information through Google or any other third-party remarketing system.
