EVERYTHING’S JUST RIGHT – Senior football manager Jack Gaughan carefully adjusted every detail in a series of lockers in the Anderson Family Football Complex’s newly redesigned locker room on Saturday morning prior to the Jayhawks’ 55-6 victory over Rhode Island in Memorial Stadium on September 3.

Football Tunnel Walk

THROUGH A ROSE COLORED TUNNEL – The KU football team lined up behind coach David Beaty in the new tunnel that leads from the Anderson Family Football Complex to Kivisto Field at Memorial Stadium. The collapsible tunnel built in Italy using Crimson and Blue colors cast rose-colored light onto the team waiting to run onto the field for the season-opening victory over Rhode Island on Saturday, September 3.

Cross Country

HUDDLE UP – Cross country assistant coach Michael Whittlesey huddled with the Jayhawk men to discuss strategy ahead of their 6K race at Rim Rock Farm north of Lawrence on Saturday, September 3. Both the Jayhawk men and women won the team titles at the season-opening Bob Timmons Classic.

GRANDPA I WON – KU’s Hannah Dimmick shared her joy of winning the women’s 5K race with her grandfather after the junior led the Jayhawks to the team title at the season-opening Bob Timmons Classic at Rim Rock Farm north of Lawrence on Saturday, September 3.

Volleyball starting lineups

STARTING LINEUPS – The KU volleyball team watched the introduction of the Maryland starting lineup prior to its match in the Horejsi Family Athletic Center on Friday, September 2. The No. 4 Jayhawks won the Kansas Invitational with victories over Chicago State, Maryland and Arkansas to move to 6-0 on the season.
