Heuchan kicked the Jayhawks past rival Missouri and into the second round of the NCAA Tournament in a thrilling finish Sunday afternoon at Rock Chalk Park. Heuchan’s golden goal in the 101st minute gave her team a 1-0 win over the Tigers and booked Kansas its first trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament since 2008. It was just the third goal of the season for the Kansas forward.

Kinner recorded the fourth 100-plus yard game of his career as he finished with 152 yards rushing against Iowa State. Kinner fell just five yards short of tying his career high of 157 set against South Dakota State in 2015. His 152 yards marked the most by a Jayhawk rusher against the Cyclones in the last 10 years.

For the second-consecutive season, Lokedi turned in a top-three performance at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships. Lokedi placed second overall, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship and helped lead the women’s team to a fifth-place finish. Lokedi’s performance marked the best by a KU female at an NCAA Regional race since Melissa Swartz also tallied a second-place finish at the meet in 1994.

Mason scored a career-high 30 points against No. 11 Indiana on Friday to earn the season’s first Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week. Mason scored the Jayhawks’ final 11 points in regulation, including two free throws to send the game to overtime. He set career highs in free throws (13) and free throw attempts (15). His 30 points marked his fifth career game of scoring 20 or more points and his nine assists against the Hoosiers was the 14th time in his career he has had seven or more assists.
