  • Had a season-ending wrist injury that occurred in practice on Dec. 20.
  • In 11 games in 2016-17, had six starts and averaged 5.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game with 18 blocked shots.
  • Grew up in Delta, Nigeria and moved to Potter’s House Christian Academy (Florida) in ninth grade.

  • Played 62 games with seven starts in two seasons at Ole Miss prior transferring to Kansas.

  • Transferred to Kansas from Arizona State after the fall 2016 semester and will be eligible to play for the Jayhawks following the fall 2017 semester.
  • Started all 10 games played and averaged 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for Arizona State in 2016.
  • Played at Ranier Beach High School in his hometown of Seattle and was nationally ranked No. 36 by Rivals.com following his senior year.

  • Has led Kansas in assists and steals eight times each in 2016-17.

  • Named to the 2017 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award watch list (one of 20) in October.

  • A national freshman of the year candidate who leads Kansas with 26 blocked shots and also has a team high 34 steals.
  • Has been named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week five times and Big 12 Player of the Week once, becoming only the third player in KU history to earn both honors in the same season.
  • Averages 15.7 points per game, which ranks eighth in the Big 12 and first among Big 12 freshmen.

  • Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree his sophomore year.

  • Was the No. 2 overall recruit in 2014-15 out of Callaway High School in Jackson, Mississippi.
