Annual Spirit Day set for Nov. 3

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Athletics and the KU Spirit Squad have announced they will celebrate the annual Spirit Day on Saturday, Nov. 3, before and during the Jayhawks’ Big 12 Conference game vs. Iowa State. Kickoff from David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium is set for 11 a.m.

On Spirit Day 2018, participants should plan to arrive and check in at 8:30 a.m., at the Spirit Tent on the Hill. Any tickets requested, a complimentary t-shirt and a meal prior to game will all be taken care of at this time.

A clinic will be held on the Hill south of the football stadium video board for participants, followed by a tailgate meal with the Spirit Squad.

Prior to the start of the game, Spirit Day participants will line up to enter David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium from the south end of the complex with KU Spirit Squad members and head to the north bowl one hour prior to kickoff (1 p.m.). Attendees will be involved in pregame activities and cheer the first half of the game alongside the KU Spirit Squad. At halftime, participant will be excused to sit in the stands to watch second half of the game.

Price: $60 per Spirit Day participant and $20 for each additional football game ticket
