Bio

Daylyn Harris enters her second season as the recruiting operations coordinator for Kansas women’s basketball. Harris played for head coach Brandon Schneider at Stephen F. Austin and helped the Ladyjacks to two Southland Conference titles.

Harris oversees and coordinates the daily recruiting operations for Schneider and his staff. Harris’ duties include managing KU women’s basketball recruiting social media, coordinating recruiting trips and campus visits and updating the recruit database. She will also assist with summer camps and clinics.

At SFA, Harris played three seasons under Schneider before becoming a student coach for the Ladyjacks. Harris appeared in 91 games in her career while netting 640 career points, good for 7.0 per game. Harris ended her career with a 37.1 percent field goal percentage and 342 rebounds.

A product of Livingston, Texas, Harris earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Stephen F. Austin in 2015.
