High School… Was a four-time letterwinner in golf, two-time letterwinner in basketball and a one-time letterwinner in track at Dodge City High School… Coached by Jim Mapel… Had 13 first place finishes at Dodge City… Earned a KSHSAA outstanding achievement award… Was a three-time Western Athletic Conference champion (2000, 2001, 2002)… Member of the state championship team in 2001 and the second place team in 2002… Named 2003 Kansas Amateur Junior Champion… Won the 2002 Regional tournament… Named Buffalo Dunes Champion in 2003… Won the Four-State Championship in 2002 in Des Moines, Iowa… Member of the Dodge City Honor Roll… Earned the Citizenship Award and named Head of the Class at Dodge City.
