TITLE Associate Director of Athletic Training - Olympic Sports (VB)

Bio

Ann Wallace is in her 17th year as a certified athletic trainer at the University of Kansas and is currently in her sixth season with Kansas volleyball. In 2021, Wallace was promoted to Associate Director of Athletic Training- Olympic Sports.  This new position includes supervision of sports medicine staff members with women’s basketball, swim and dive, soccer, and track and field. Prior to working with KU Volleyball, Wallace spent 10 seasons with the women’s basketball program at Kansas.

As a graduate assistant at Kansas, Wallace was on staff with both the KU Swim and Dive Program and the with the Jayhawk’s Football Program.

A native of Cottage Grove, WI, Wallace earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a certificate in athletic training at The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005.

She is a Red Cross CPR instructor and is in charge of all CPR, AED and First Aid certifications for both the Kansas Team Health staff and Kansas Athletics’ Coaching Staffs . Over the course of her career, Wallace has gained certification in Mental Health First Aid, QPR, BFR, Graston, MFD,  PRI and CES among other educational opportunities. Ann and her husband, Steve, have three young children, Addison, Noah and Delaney.
