Kansas Rowing Camp: Flyer | Waiver

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Although a rapidly-growing Division I varsity sport, the rules and fundamentals of collegiate rowing are still a learning process for some. On June 29-30, the Jayhawks will host the Kansas Rowing Camp designed to teach interested high school and college-aged female athletes more about the sport.

The 2013 Kansas Rowing Camp is geared towards beginner rowers. KU Head Coach Rob Catloth and his staff want to offer a challenging, fun and rewarding first experience into the sport of rowing. Campers will learn fundamental skills and the importance of teamwork in rowing.

Any and all female athletes who will be high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors in the fall of 2013 are eligible to participate. Also eligible are any and all incoming college freshmen and two-year transfer students.

COST
The fee for a one day camp is $80. Campers may sign up for either the Saturday or Sunday session. A camper may participate both days, but the cost will be $80 per day. If a camper must withdraw from the camp, written notice must be made to callencku.edu one week prior to the camp start date for a full refund. If notice is less than one week prior only half of the camp fee will be refunded.
