LAWRENCE, Kan. – Under interim head coach Carrie Cook-Callen, Kansas rowing will host three regattas at home this season, as the Jayhawks announced their 2017-18 schedule on Thursday.

KU kicks off the season with its fifth annual Jayhawk Jamboree on Sunday, Oct. 22. Fans can enjoy food trucks, a fun zone, music and more, while cheering on the Jayhawks as they compete against some of the region’s toughest competitors.

Kansas will end its fall season at the Tulsa Fall Regatta Nov. 3-4. The Jayhawks’ trip to face the Golden Hurricane marks the first of two trips south to Tulsa this year.

To start off the New Year, the Jayhawks will spend Jan. 4-13 in Tampa, Florida, preparing for the upcoming season during their winter training trip.

The Jayhawks have two scrimmages to start off the spring season, continuing to get ready for tough competition that lies ahead. KU will face Tulsa for the second time in 2017-18, March 9-10, and race at Indiana March 23-24.
