2012 CROSS COUNTRY
Took part in five of the Jayhawks[apos] six meets on the year, finishing in KU[apos]s top four in each… Notched a 30^th-place finish at the Big 12 Championships (10/27) and came in as Kansas[apos] fourth scorer with his 8K time of 24:50.6… Opened the year with a third-place finish at the Bob Timmons Classic (9/1) after crossing the 6K finish line in 19:49.5… Competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional where he finished 44^th overall on his 10K time of 31:28.10… Selected to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.

2012 OUTDOOR
Competed at the Big 12 Championships (5/11) in the 10,000 meters in which he set a team and personal best time of 30:19.67, placing 11^th… Ran the 3,000-meter Steeplechase at the Big 12 Championships (5/13) where he finished 15^th with a time of 9:49.57… Took 40^th in the 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational (4/6) when he crossed the finish line in 30:35.90… Ran to a runner-up finish in the 5,000 meters at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4/27) with his time of 15:03.57.

2012 INDOOR
Set personal best at the Big 12 Championships (2/25) in the 3,000 meters where he finished in a time of 8:18.43 to place 23^rd… Won the 5,000 meters at the Tyson Invitational (2/10) while also setting a personal and team best time of 14:37.74… Competed in the mile at the Kansas vs. Missouri Dual (1/13), recording a time of 4:21.23 and a fifth-place finish.

2011 CROSS COUNTRY
Had a solid debut season for the Jayhawks, competing in six meets in the Crimson and Blue… Was the Jayhawks[apos] top finisher at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge (9/10), finishing second overall with an 8K time of 26:54.35… Was the fourth scorer for KU at the Big 12 Championships (10/29), coming in 48^th and with a personal-best 8K time of 25:06.7… Took fifth overall and second among his teammates at the Bob Timmons Classic (9/3), finishing the 6K in 19:37.90.

Lettered in cross country and track all four years at Abilene High School… 1,600m Kansas 4A state champion 2008-10… School record holder and 2010 state champion in the 3,200m with a time of 9:19… Holds the school record in the two mile with a time of 9:23… Member of the National Honor Society… Academic all-state in cross country.
