Senior Season (2015-16):
Competed in 12 events during his final season as a Jayhawk… Finished the season leading the team in three different categories including: wins (2), top-five finishes (4) and lowest 54-hole total (202)… Won two individual titles at the Ram Masters Invitational (Sept. 21-22) and Louisiana Classics Invitational (Feb. 29 – March 1), the most individual victories for a Jayhawk since 2012-13… Carded a 64 (-8) in the third round of the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational (Oct. 23-25), which was a tied for the second-lowest recorded round in Kansas History.

Junior Season (2014-15):
Competed in 12 events and led Kansas in scoring in four events, while ranking as one of the top-three finishers in nine events… Tied for eighth at the Sagamore Preview (Oct. 13-14) with a final score of 144 (E), which was his best finish… Lowest tournament score was 10-under par at the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational (Oct. 24-26), tallying a score of 206 (-10).
Summer 2014:
Won the Pine to Palm golf tournament in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Sophomore Season (2013-14):
Led Kansas in scoring at three different events, while ranking as one of the team’s top-two finishers in six events… Competed in 11 events with his best finish being tied for sixth at the UTEP Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational (Oct. 25-26)… Had two top-10 individual finishes… Posted a season scoring average of 73.56… Shot two rounds even par and nine rounds under par… Low tournament score was 7-under with scores of 69, 70 and 70, tallying a 209, at the UTEP Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational… Shot a season-low 68 at the Ram Master Invitational (-2) (Sept. 16-17), Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (-4) (Feb. 21-23) and the Hawkeye Invitational (-4) (April 12-13).

2012-13 (Freshman at Scottsdale Community College):
2013 National Junior College Athletic Association Division I All-America First Team by Golfweek… Played for head coach Dan Dersam at Scottsdale (Arizona) Community College where he averaged 71.3 strokes per round… Won two tournaments for Scottsdale CC, including the NJCAA Region I Championship on the Gold Canyon Sidewinder Course in Phoenix, Arizona… Led the Fighting Artichokes to the Region I team championship… Champion of the 2013 Mesa Community College Invitational… Recorded a second-place finish at the 110th MGA Amateur at Medina Golf and Country Club in Medina, Minnesota… Tied for seventh at the Minnesota State Open.

High School:
A four-year letterman in golf at Moorhead High School in Moorhead, Minnesota… A three-time Minnesota All-State selection… Helped the Spuds to four sectional titles… In his senior campaign at MHS, he won an individual Minnesota state championship and led to the team state title… Two-year letterwinner in hockey his junior and senior years.

Personal:
Son of Tom and Kelly Welle… Has one sister, Liz… Great-uncle, Jean Beliveau, played professional hockey for the Montreal Canadians and was a 10-time Stanley Cup Champion… Majoring in communications and minoring business.
