Competed in the Badger Invitational placing tied for 60th while posting an average of 78.66 at the event (Sept. 28-30).
 
Redshirt Sophomore Season (2013-14):
Competed in three events in 2013-14, all in the spring… Placed 71st at the Louisiana Classics Invitational (March 10-11)… Finished 87th playing as an individual at the Desert Shootout (March 20-22)… Had his best outing of the year placing 62nd at the Hawkeye Invitational where he competed as an individual… Had a low round 74 and a low 54 score (236) at the Hawkeye Invitational.

Sophomore Season (2012-13):
Redshirted his second season at Kansas.  

Freshman Season (2011-12):
Competed in five events with his best finish being 50th at the Big 12 Championship… Posted a season scoring average of 79.06… Shot a season-low round of 70 at the Cowboy Classic… Low tournament score was a 62nd-place finish at the Cowboy Classic where he shot a 6-over 216 over three rounds.

High School:
Lettered four years in golf and two years in basketball at Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School… Won 10 tournaments in the state of Kansas during his career, including nine in his final two seasons… Runner-up at the 6A State Championship his junior year… Led the crusaders to the 6A state championship in 2010… Finished as the runner-up in the city league championship all four years… Won his 6A regional and took fourth place in the state his freshman year, which earned him the distinction of metro-prep golfer of the year… Advanced to the round of 16 at the 2010 Kansas Amateur… Graduated with cum laude honors and was a state scholar.

Son of Joe and Kay Auer… Has one brother, Nick… Dad played baseball at the University of Iowa… Uncle, Matt, played baseball for Missouri Southern… Double major in accounting and finance.
