Kicked off his sophomore year at the Bob Timmons Challenge, where he competed in his lone heptathlon of the indoor season, recording 5215 points to take second overall … long jumped at the 2024 KU-KSU-WSU Triangular, jumping 6.99m for fourth place … ran both the 60m (6.93, ninth place) and the 4x400m relay (3:12.06, first place) at the Iowa Black and Gold Invite … competed in the 60m (6.97, 15th) and the 4x400m (3:12.52, fourth place) once again at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational … ran the 200m and pole vaulted at the KSU Steve Miller Invitational, where he ran 21.89 and cleared 4.53m respectively … made it to long jump finals in the 2024 Big 12 Indoor Championships, finishing 10th overall with a best mark of 7.43m … was also member of the fifth-place 4x400m relay team that ran a 3:07.22.
2023 OUTDOOR (Fr.)
Made his outdoor season debut at the Texas Relays, where he finished sixth in the long jump for jumping 7.59m (24-11 ft.) … Competed in two events at the LSU Invitational and achieved a personal best in the 100m for finishing in 10.71 seconds … Went on to long jump 7.25m (23-9.5 ft.) and placed third … Competed in the 100m, pole vault, and long jump at the Kansas Relays, winning the long jump with a 7.56m (24-9.75 ft.) jump and achieving a personal best for vaulting 4.32m (14-2 ft.) … Won the long jump for achieving a personal best 7.66m (25-1.75 ft.) jump at the John McDonnell Invitational … Achieved personal-bests in two events at the Rock Chalk Classic, finishing sixth in the 200m dash with a time of 21.29 and fourth in the 400m for running it in 47.52 seconds … Competed in his first collegiate decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, where he placed fourth overall with 7620 total points … Also placed seventh in the long jump (7.56m) and ran on the sixth place 4×100 squad at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, making podium trips for all three of the events he competed in … punched his ticket to NCAA Outdoor Championships in the decathlon after his debut, ranking No. 24 in the entirety of the NCAA … competed at the NCAA West Preliminaries in the men’s long jump, where he finished 21st overall with a best jump of 7.43m … Took 20th place in his first ever National Championships, posting three top-five finishes throughout his 6753-point decathlon (10.64 100m for third place overall, while his 7.52m long jump and 47.54 400m each were good for fifth overall).
2023 INDOOR (Fr.)
Made his debut at the Bob Timmons Classic and finished first in the long jump with a distance of 7.24m (23-9 ft.), he also finished seventh in the 60 yard dash with a time of 8.54 seconds … Achieved two personal bests at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular, one in the 60 (6.96 sec.) and finished first in the long jump with a personal best 7.33m (24-0.75 ft.) … Finished the 600 in 1:24.24 and 8.31 seconds in the 60 yard dash at the Jayhawk Classic, finished fourth in the 60 yard dash and ninth in the 600 … Achieved a personal best in the heptathlon for finishing with 5319 points, finished eighth overall … Achieved a personal best in the long jump for jumping a distance of 7.63m (25-0.5 ft.) and finished third at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, also completed the heptathlon with a score of 4813, finishing seventh overall.
