Jayhawk alum Mason Finley named to USATF roster for NACAC Senior Championships
INDIANAPOLIS – Kansas track & field alum Mason Finley was named to the USA Track & Field roster for the 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) Senior Championships to be held at Varsity Stadium in Toronto, Canada, August 10-12.
A member of the Jayhawk throwing squad from 2010-12, Finley will compete in the discus at Varsity Stadium for the USA.
Earlier this summer, Finley finished second in the discus at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, posting a throw of 67.06 meters (220-0 ft.).
The NACAC men’s discus competition is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. EDT (12:45 p.m. CDT) on Sunday, August 12.
