Miles adds on-campus recruiting staff

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football head coach Les Miles announced the addition of two new staff members as Erin Dunston and Hannah Tourtillott have joined the Jayhawk staff. Dunston comes to Kansas as the Director of On-Campus Recruiting and Tourtillott will fill the role of Assistant Director of On-Campus Recruiting.

Erin Dunston has joined the Kansas football program as the director of on-campus recruiting. In her role, Dunston is responsible for coordinating all on-campus recruiting efforts with a primary focus on official visits, unofficial visits, game day recruiting programming, junior days and special events.
 
Dunston arrived in Lawrence from Purdue University, where she served as the athletics administration associate. In her role at Purdue, Dunston collaborated with internal and external personnel to achieve organizational objectives, implement project management processes and assist with community relations and engagement. 
 
Prior to her arrival at Purdue, Dunston spent two years at LSU where she was a graduate assistant with the football operations staff. At LSU she assisted the head coach, assistant coaches and the football operations staff with all daily and game day tasks including team travel, pre-game events and daily scheduling.

Dunston completed her master’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in pedagogy and psychological sciences from LSU in May 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Delaware in May 2015.
 
Hannah Tourtillott, Assistant Director of On-Campus Recruiting
Hannah Tourtillott has been added to the Kansas football staff as the assistant director of on-campus recruiting. Tourtillott will assist in all phases of recruiting operations, including assisting the director of on-campus recruiting with official visits, unofficial visits, game day recruiting programming, junior days and special events.
 
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Tourtillott worked with the men’s basketball program as both an undergraduate and while pursuing her master’s degree as a student assistant. During her time working with the men’s basketball office, she assisted the coaching staff with daily program operations, including designing and sending recruiting mail and providing campus and facility tours to visiting recruits, donors and NBA scouts. Tourtillott also managed the social media accounts for Bill Self Basketball Camps.
 
Additionally, Tourtillott served as a student intern with the Kansas Athletics Sports Performance department in 2017, assisting in the strength training of several of KU’s athletics programs.

Tourtillott is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management and leadership from KU. A native of Fort Scott, Kansas, Tourtillott earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from KU in May 2017.
