Kansas softball series finale cancelled

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Despite the best efforts to play the series finale, Kansas softball has cancelled game three of the series with inclement weather expected for most of the afternoon and travel accommodations.

Because rain is forecasted for most of the afternoon and Texas having to catch its flight, the final meeting of the three-game series has been cancelled and will not be made up. After sweeping Friday’s doubleheader, Texas won the 2017 series.

Kansas concludes the 2017 regular season at Iowa State May 5-7 at the Cyclone Sports Complex. First pitch of the series is slated for Friday, May, 5 at 4 p.m., on FCS Central and the Jayhawk Radio Network.
