Incoming Weather Alters Jayhawk Invitational Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to impending poor weather conditions slated for Sunday, Kansas softball has altered the schedule for the remaining games of the 2014 Jayhawk Invitational. KU will play its final two games of the tournament on Saturday, March 15, instead of playing the intial schedule of two games on Saturday and one on Sunday.
 
Originally, Kansas was scheduled to play Northern Illinois on Saturday, March 15 at 3:30 p.m. Now, the Jayhawks will face No. 14 Nebraska at 6 p.m. on Saturday (3/15), which has been pushed up from its Sunday start time. KU’s game against Jackson State will remain the first game played on Saturday (3/15) at 10:30 a.m. The game will air on the Jayhawk Television Network/ESPN3.
 
The Jayhawk Invitational will conclude after four games on Saturday before the poor weather conditions roll into Lawrence on Sunday.

10:30 a.m.    Kansas vs. Jackson State

1 p.m.            Northern Illinois vs. Jackson State
3:30 p.m.      Nebraska vs. Northern Illinois
6 p.m.            Kansas vs. Nebraska
