Weather Alters Saturday’s Softball Contest to 3 p.m.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Just as Kansas softball was finishing its allotted time in the batting cages on Saturday, the Jayhawks got word that another storm cell was approaching the Columbia area, which caused Regional Officials to push back first pitch against Missouri to 3 p.m.

The winner of Kansas and Missouri would move on to the Regional Championship game on Sunday, May 17, while the loser would have to play a second game later on Saturday and win before advancing to the final day of regional action.

The Jayhawks’ match up with the Tigers will air on the SEC Network + and the Jayhawk Radio Network as originally scheduled.
