Teammates awaited the arrival of Harli Ridling at homeplate.
Ridling hit a three-run homerun to put KU up 9-7 over OSU.
When Ridling arrived home, she was mobbed by teammates.
Saturday was Salute to Service Day at Arrocha Ballpark.
Chaley Brickey was 2-3, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBI's.
Brickey chased down a pop-up to short left field.
Daniella Chavez had three RBI's on two hits.
Chavez tagged a runner after fielding a hit.
Briana Evans laid down a bunt in the bottom of the 3rd.
Evans beat the throw to first.
Evans launched the ball back to the infield to prevent a run
Shannon McEhaney snagged a lined shot up the middle.
McElhaney tagged a runner trying to steal second.
McElhaney was hit by a pitch to start the third inning.
Each team member was individually recognized.
The 2006 Big 12 Championship team was honored.
