2010 (Fr.): Selected KU backfield player of the year… Named KU offensive player of the week vs. Georgia Tech and Colorado… Played in 11 games after not seeing action in the season opener… Started four games (Southern Mississippi, Baylor, Kansas State and Missouri)… Led the team in rushing with 742 yards on 168 carries… Also led the team with 10 touchdowns, including nine rushing… His 742 yards were the fourth most by a Jayhawk freshman in school history and were eighth among NCAA freshmen in 2010… Tied school records with four touchdowns and 24 points against Colorado… Recorded three 100-yard rushing games, which tied for the second-most by a freshman in school history… Ran 17 times for 101 yards and one touchdown in his college debut against then No. 15 Georgia Tech… Two games later ran 16 times for 115 yards and two scores against New Mexico State… Posted season-best 123 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries against Colorado… Closed the season with 78 yards against Oklahoma State and 82 yards against Missouri… Had six rushes of 20 or more yards… Tied for third on the team with 19 catches for 134 yards and one touchdown.

High School: Was the District Offensive Player of the Year… Named a Texas Top 100 Recruit by several publications… As a senior he rushed 258 times for 1,762 yards and 20 touchdowns… Also caught 12 passes for 96 yards and another score… His junior season he rushed 206 times for 1,149 yards and 15 touchdowns, while adding 21 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns… Was named the district offensive sophomore of the year in 2007.
