Coffeyville Community College (2014): Played a post-high school season for head coach Aaron Flores and the Red Ravens at Coffeyville Community College… Earned an All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference offensive honorable mention selection after seeing action in 10 games and hauling in 12 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown.
 
High School: Recorded 625 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as a senior at Chanute High School in 2012… Earned Kansas class 4A First Team All-State honors in his final season for the Blue Comets… Also played his way into a First Team All-Southeast Kansas League honor in 2012… A member of the winningest class in Chanute’s football program history after claiming consecutive district, bi-district and regional championships in 2011-12… A member of the 2009 Blue Comet team that won the SEK conference championship… Earned nine letters during his career at CHS including basketball, track and baseball… A teammate of quarterback Brock Gilmore at both Coffeyville and Chanute High School.
 
Personal: Son of Timothy and Bridget Fairchild… Sister Sarah Shaffer also attended The University of Kansas… Majoring in exercise science with ambition to enter graduate school focused in physical therapy.
