Prior to Kansas: Named the Rimington Award winner as the top center in NCAA Division II in 2023…Also named an AP Division II Second Team All-American and a member of the D2Football.com Elite 100 squad…All-Super Region 1 First Team selection by the D2CCA and finalist for the Upshaw Award in 2023…Two-time All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference First Team selection…Three-year starter at Tiffin, helping the Dragons to an 11-0 regular season record in 2023…Prepped at West Jefferson HS in Ohio, where he earned First Team All-Ohio, All-Metro and All-League honors.

2022-23: Played in all 11 games for the Dragons. He was named First Team All-Conference in his junior season.

2021-22: Played in 6 games.

2020-21: Bumgardner did not make an appearance for the Dragons.

High School: 1st Team All Ohio, 1st Team All-Metro, 1st Team All-League.
