Bill Self Does ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Bucket Challenge.LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas men’s basketball coach Bill Self spent part of his Wednesday morning with his friend and Lawrence attorney Evan Ice who has been battling ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) for the past two years.
 
Upon the challenge of Ice’s daughters, Erin, Allix and Emily, in addition to many others who have dared him including KU football coach Charlie Weis, Self participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in front of historic Allen Fieldhouse. Ice, and his daughter Erin, were on hand to witness the challenge as KU assistant coaches Norm Roberts and Jerrance Howard dumped the ice on Self.
 
Self then challenged the Kansas 2014-15 men’s basketball team, which is scheduled to return to campus Sunday, August 24.
