Jayhawks Sign Hannah Driscoll for 2014-15 Season

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas swimming and diving has signed Niwot High School senior Hannah Driscoll to a national letter of intent to join the team for the 2014-15 season.

Driscoll competed for the Cougars on the varsity swim team all four years of high school. During her tenure, she set five Niwot school records. She was voted the 2014 4A Northern Region and Colorado State Swimmer of the Year. Driscoll set the 4A state record in the 50-yard freestyle (23.60) at the 2014 4A State meet in February this year. The senior was also a Junior National Qualifier in the 100-yard breaststroke.

“Hannah is our final piece of the 2014 recruiting class,” head coach Clark Campbell said. “She had a tremendous senior year for both Rally Sport and Niwot High School.  She will help us immediately in her specialties of sprint free and breaststroke.  We are looking forward to Hannah and all our freshmen arriving to KU in the fall.”

Driscoll was a member of the National Honor Society and Colorado All-State Team. She was named Rotary Student of the Month and lettered in academics all four years.
